Jobs of the Future – Are You Ready?

Artificial Intelligence and Automation will kill 400-800 million jobs by 2030, it will also introduce 600-899 million jobs in the same time period but you need to learn AI and coding to be able to do the work. According to HackerRank, 74% of world programmers are self-taught. If we change the definition of literary from being able to sign to being able to code, the global literacy will drop from 86% to 3%.

Currently 8 out of 24 advertised jobs requires coding in one way or other and it will increase to 17 out of 24 in next five years. The RoI to learn coding is 1 to 1000 in five years’ time. 60% of the jobs in next 10 years are not invented yet. I did my bachelors in computer science in 1998, there was no Facebook or IPhone there and now I make my living on these platforms. How do you prepare for the future?

Here are few job titles I’ve compiled, see which ones you can fill, if these sound alien to you, this is the right time to learn AI. Here is a curated list of best books on AI you can start with.
